Teens have the greatest flexibility at Mill No. 3! We have events and classes that are strictly for teens only....that is ages 13-17 or 8th-12th grade (only exception are the overnighters where tweens/teens who are going into 7th grade may also participate regardless of age).
However, teens are welcome at ANY event we are offering this summer!
Tuesday nights are funshops and Friday nights are teen nights. Here are the offerings for teens only:
TUESDAY EVENINGS from 7-9 p.m.:
* June 19th: Mixed Media Art! Come explore how to use different types of media in an art project!
* June 26th: Altered Book! Come make a an old book into something that uniquely reflects your style and creativity.
* July 10th: Origami and Papercrafts
* July 17th: Decoupauge: Make a project using decoupauge
* July 24th: Draw, Paint, Create-----uh, need we to explain further???
* July 31: Paper Clothing: Try your hand at designing full size clothing out of paper!
* August 7th: Paint the Floor! No worries, we are not asking you come work and paint the Mill floor! We wil be putting down tarps and painting canvas so you can create on the floor.......try your hand at drop painting, throw painting, and more! Clothes will get paint on them!
* August 14th: Bridge Competition! Come build a couple of different bridges and see if they pass the teddy bear test (huh??? You have to come to understand)!
Cost for the Funshops are $10 drop-in; $9/ pre-registered at least one day in advance; are as low as $6.00 if you have a Family Funshop summer pass...ask for details!
FRIDAY NIGHTS AT THE MILL!
* June 22nd: 7-10 "Teams of 3 Challenge Night!" Gather a couple of friends to gather and compete in a series of team challenges. Who will win???
* June 29th: 7-10 p.m. & 10p-8a Murder Mystery Night and Guys Overnight. All teens and tweens (7th grade and up) are welcome to come to participate in a murder mystery.....mahhhaaaaaa! Then at 10 p.m. when the teen night is over, the guys can stay for a guys overnight.
* July 13th: 7-10 Guys vs Gals. A series of challenges that require brain and braun.....which group will win....the guys or the gals???
* July 20th: 7-10 & 10p-8a Wacky Olympics and Gals Overnight. All teens and tweens (7th grade and up) are welcome to compete in the wacky olympics. Then when teen night is over, there will be a gals overnight pajama party!
* July 27: 7-10 Create It and show it off!
* August 3: 7-10 Tournament Night
* August 10: 7-10 Movie Night
* August 17th: Murder Mystery Night
